The Red River Valley Amateur Radio Club (RRVARC) is an active regional club in northeast Texas, with membership from Lamar, Delta, Fanin and Red River counties in Texas, and Choctaw, Bryan and McCurtain counties in southeastern Oklahoma.  RRVARC currently operates three amateur radio repeaters: UHF: 444.500+ PL114.8 and VHF: 147.020+ PL 167.9 (These repeaters are linked.) are primary and VHF 146.76 PL 203.5 is secondary and also linked to the North Central Texas Connection (NCTC) array.  These repeaters are open to any and all licensed operators.

The Club is afilliated with a VE testing group, the Red River Amateur Testing Team (RRATTeam).  Please see our website, click here for details.  Groups may request a VE team for a special session. 

RRVARC is the main source for volunteers supporting community events such as the "Tour de Paris" attracting over 1,000 riders and as trained SKYWARN storm spotters assisting National Weather Service (NWS) Fort Worth in providing timely warnings to local citizens.
